Listing Management API lets you push data into Semrush Listing Management and distribute it across directories automatically. Use it to keep business information consistent across all your directories without switching between tools or updating locations manually.
What you can do with Listing Management API
- Create, update, and delete locations directly through the API to keep data synchronized across your external systems
- Push business information — name, address, phone number, working and holiday hours, website link, business descriptions, categories, and map coordinates — to all your directories automatically whenever it changes
- Retrieve listing status and connect or disconnect individual listings to automate listing management workflows and control your directory presence
- Create, update, retrieve, and delete images through the API, including bulk operations across locations
- Retrieve available payment methods configured for a business using the Payment Options API
- Connect your website store locator through the API to keep directory details accurate when you update information on your website
How to get access to Listing Management API
The Listing Management API is available for all Semrush Local Pro and Business plan users.
To get started with the Listing Management API:
- Use the Get Locations API to retrieve information about all locations you have already created
- While setting up and debugging the Create Location and Update Location APIs, use the validate_only parameter. Set validate_only = true to send requests without applying changes - all validation rules are still enforced
